Maximum efficiency in the laboratory

Experience vastly improved workflows thanks to the clever automated features on the DM3000 Clinical Microscope, including:

  • A motorised condenser head that automatically positions itself in the optimal location to focus the light when changing magnifications
  • The light intensity is automatically adjusted to each objective’s requirements
  • Automated switching between objective lenses

Considered ergonomic features

Ergonomic adjustments to suit each individual user’s needs, including:

  • The focus knobs and stage controls are positioned in line with each other for user comfort
  • Height adjustable focus knobs
  • Variable angle tilting head (fixed angle head also available)

Fast objective switching

  • A unique toggle mode boosts efficiency when switching between magnifications
  • The nosepiece of the DM3000 clinical microscope holds up to 6 objective lenses, ensuring flexibility and efficiency when viewing a range of different samples requiring different magnifications/contrast techniques

Create your own presets

With a range of programmable control buttons, the user can create their own settings for light intensity, objectives and an on/off mode for transmitted light when using fluorescence. These settings can be saved and recalled at the click of a button.

Advanced fluorescence imaging capabilities

Experience zero pixel shift with Leica’s unique fluorescence filter cubes and hold up to five filter cubes at one time for improved efficiency.

LED or bright 30W halogen lamp

The Leica DM3000 clinical microscope has a choice of either a bright 30W halogen lamp or LED illumination to suit the user’s preference. LED provides an energy-efficient, alternative to halogen and its long life removes the need to change bulbs frequently. LED is also a cold light source, therefore eliminating any unintentional heating of the sample.

Camera attachment/image analysis

With the option of a trinocular head, a microscope camera can easily be added to this clinical microscope for documentation and image analysis. We have options for documentation, research level image analysis, fluorescence imaging and teaching applications (including digital classroom setups and WiFi connection to your phone/tablet). We’re experts in these fields and our friendly staff are always happy to assist, simply pop us an email here.
