Image Analysis

Image Analysis software is usually supplied with a range of necessary hardware accessories, not least being an image capture device such as a camera and often specimen movement devices such as a motorised microscope stage and motorised focus.  These devices are usually controlled by the software and their actions are orchestrated to produce images that are then analysed.

Image analysis covers a vast range of applications in biology, materials, industry, crop science, medicine etc etc.  Some image analysis software requires a great deal of user input to interpret what needs to be analysed. Automated feature detection and analysis is more popular but depends entirely on there being some computable difference between the object to be analysed and its neighbouring features and background.  Metallurgical analysis and particle sizing are classic candidates for efficient automated analysis whilst many biological and industrial inspection tasks will inevitably require more interaction.

We offer all levels of image analysis products here and our staff are experts in this field.

Industrial

Industrial Image Analysis can take many different forms.  In this section we cover the most common requirements of analysis of component dimensions, particle counting and sizing and materials and metallurgical analysis.

Particle Sizing and Counting

GT Vision offer a superb range of particle sizing and counting software tools.  All are capable of controlling cameras, motorised stages, motorised focus and microscope functions.  They can be used to analyse large numbers of particles and produce instant tabulated results.  Many of our products are designed for classic particle sizing standards such as ISO 4406, ISO4407 and ISO16232.

Materials and Metallurgy

GT Vision offer a comprehensive range of materials and metallurgical image analysis software solutions that can analyse all the classic specimen types for inclusions, porosity, grain size, particle size, layer thickness, phase determination and much, much more.

Histology Cytology

GT Vision supply a range of flexible image analysis tools that are particularly well suited to the analysis of histological and cytological specimens.

Immunology

GT Vision offers specialist packages for the analysis of immunological tests and Elisa Spot tests which are fully automated and widely used in pharmaceutical industries and research.
