Polariser Kit for GXM-SMART Microscopes comprising of an analyser insert and rotatable polariser The Analyser inserts below the head of the microscope and the Polariser rests on top of the collector lens beneath the condenser and can be rotated (see picture).  This kit is used to increase the contrast between refringent materials.  Typical applications are the study of crystals, polished mineral sections and polymers.
