The Leica DM2500: An Ergonomic Biological Microscope for Routine and Research Applications

The Leica DM2500 biological microscope is the ultimate tool for demanding tasks in pathology, cytology, haematolgy, and even for basic research applications.  With its powerful 100W illumination, high-quality optical performance, and state of the art accessories, the Leica DM2500 biological microscope is especially well suited for challenging goals in pathology or biomedicine that require differential interference contrast or high-performance fluorescence.  The bright 100W illumination is particularly beneficial for DIC work. The modular, application-oriented design means that the Leica DM2500 can be configured to fit specific applications and physical requirements of the user.  For special diagnostics requirements, the microscope is certified for in-vitro-diagnostics (IVD) like in-vitro-fertilization (IVF).
The Leica DM2500 biological microscope can be equipped for a range of applications including brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, polarisation contrast, differential interference contrast and fluorescence.
The Leica DM2500 biological microscope is a capable laboratory microscope for both routine and research tasks, and has a comprehensive range of accessories which adapt to a wide range of applications, including cancer research studies, pathology, cytology, haematology and developmental biology.

Choose from various tube lengths and height adjustment elements that are designed to adjust the microscope to the individual user. Reduce back and shoulder strain, even after extended time at the microscope. Because of the symmetrical arrangement of the stage and coaxial focus controls, users automatically adopt a natural, comfortable posture.
Stage and Condenser The microscope’s stage is well-rounded with no protruding edges. The entire stage design is compact and requires minimal space. The stage plate is built to last. The surface is made of a durable, hard ceramic that is built to take years of demanding use. The new slide holders ensure more speed when changing specimens. The slide holders are designed so that slides can be changed in a single motion with one hand.
