Perfectly designed for routine cell culture and live cell imaging tasks, the Leica DM IL LED Inverted Biological Microscope is a reliable and ergonomic workhorse for every-day use.

The Leica DM IL LED inverted biological microscope combines optical excellence with ergonomic design and smart technology, making routine cell-checking work as comfortable and effortless as possible. Only a few adjustments are required to adjust the microscope to the user’s seat height, head posture, arm length and hand size. This adaptability provides reliable protection from muscular tension, poor posture, and long term, detrimental health effects. Microscopy has never been more comfortable and pleasant!

Featuring a range of contrast techniques including brightfield, phase contrast, fluorescence and Leica’s unique Integrated Modulation Contrast (IMC), the Leica DM IL LED inverted boilogical microscope is adaptable to a wide range of different samples and applications. It has a choice of condensers: S40 for slides, petri dishes and most types of flasks, or for taller flasks an S80 condenser (optional) is available. For live cell work, a heated stage can be added.

• Heat-free, energy-saving and high intensity 5W LED illumination with a product life of 50,000 hours. No more bulb changes!
• Smart illumination. The LED brightness automatically adjusts according to the selected contrast method (brightfield, phase contrast, IMC).
• Maintain a controlled environment with Leica’s wide selection of accessories for live cell imaging.
• Fluorescence imaging capabilities, including zero pixel shift and a 3-position fluorescence slider to holder a selection of filter sets. Need more filter sets? Another slider can easily be inserted.
