Description
A large specimen capacity, top quality materialsย microscope suitable for viewing silicon wafers, assembliesย and standard metallurgical reflective specimens.ย It is equipped with infinity optics with darkfield / brightfieldย incident (reflected) illumination. It also has a trinocularย head ready for the attachment of a digital camera.ย This microscope includes a full set of high quality infinity BDย plan achromatic materials objectives on a rotatableย objective turret.
Specimens can placed on the very large mechanicalย stage (can take 8in wafers) with controls for XY stageย movement including a rapid traverse override control,ย perfect for scanning over large areas.ย The focussing tension can be adjusted and a focus lockย protects the objectives from damage.
Illumination is provided from a powerful, integral reflectedlight illuminator with a 50W halogen lamp with adjustableย intensity, field and aperture diaphragms, polariser and setย of Y, G, B and diffusion filtersย This microscope is built on GX Microscopes largest andย highly robust XJL upright series industrial microscope frameย which provides high stability and a durable platformย suitable for the most demanding of applications.ย Options include a range of camera adapters, digitalย cameras, image analysis software, additional objectivesย and eyepieces.
