This microscope is commonly used in forensics for examining ballistics, fibres, toolย marks and other materials and also in archaeology, palaeontology and otherย collections and artefact identification studies.
This microscope is supplied complete with 2 sets of eyepieces and 5 objectivesย sets giving an overall magnification range of 7.68X โ 120X, more than enough toย encompass most examination tasks.
The two tiltable stages include fine vernier movement controls and rotationย for easy specimen manipulation. The long working distance of 100mmย makes specimen mounting very simple. The microscope includes bothย conventional and cold light sources giving plenty of flexibility.
A range of other useful accessories such as bullet andย cartridge holders can be mounted onto the microscope; it is designed toย be versatile tool for the widest range of specimens.
